Kino is the art of flirting by touch.

Kino (from “kinesthetics”) is touching. In general, mammals like to be touched, and females in particular usually really like it. There are two types of kino associated with pickup, social and sexual. Light non-sexual touching is a way of building rapport with women. It’s a way of showing your intent, whilst establishing her level of attraction towards you.

Light non-sexual touches include.

  • Light touching to the upper arm.
  • Touching the hair - “You’re hair looks great.”
  • Holdings hands.
  • Hugging - “You’re really nice let’s hug.”

Women respond in different ways to touching. Knowing how much touching depends on your ability to read the situation. In a situation where there is a high level of attraction between the two of you for example, you could escalate to a hug almost straight away.

Calibrating Kino

Kino should escalate; if she touches you, you touch her. Be one step ahead and use her touches as indicators of how quickly to escalate. If she touches you in a sexual way then reciprocate immediately. If you touch her in a sexual manner and she does not back off because you correctly read the situation, then kiss her right there and then.
