An Indicator of Interest is any indication from a female that she is attracted to you. IOIs can appear at any time even before you have approached her. An IOI given before you approach is known as an Approach Invitation or AI.

IOIs when conversing with females include her playing with her hair or any objects, especially phallic ones; licking her lips, complimenting you on anything, turning her hips toward you, listening attentively, tilting her head slightly.Anonymous

Example Indicators of Interest are :-

  • Eye contact, held for slightly longer than normal.
  • Playing with her hair.
  • Touching her breast or necklace.
  • Leaning in towards you.
  • Touches you.
  • standing near or around you.
  • She initiates conversation.
  • She asks your name.

Eye contact is the best IOI. With eye contact you can gauge interest from across a busy room, on the tube, in the street or between escalators. If you are in a situation where you can’t act on the eye contact, a smile or wink will suffice. Who knows ? You may meet again.
