It’s mainly an unconscious process and the tests occur for many reasons. Attractive women get a lot of offers and need to quickly filter out men with weak characters.

The more tests you get the more attracted to you she is. A woman will be polite and considerate to people they are not attracted to. If a 90 year old man says good morning to a young lady she will not tell him to take a hike. If you’re being tested then you are running through her filter.

How Do I Pass Shit Tests

You basically have two options. Ignore the test. Or reciprocate with a witty retort putting you back into the driving seat.

1. Make your profile stand out.

Filling in a profile is personal marketing. Communicate a high value image of yourself, tell the truth, but make it sound really great. Most profiles ask the same sorts of questions i.e. hobbies, music, profession etc. For music I wouldn’t list my favourite bands, instead I might say.

I love listening to new music, going to concerts and most of all singing in the shower.

OK, it’s not the best line ever, but I was able to get across that I’m open to new things, I like going out and that I have a sense of humour.

You usually get an open field to describe yourself, write something here but keep it short and too the point. Be general and try to cover the following points, you’re confident, bright, funny, sexy and truthful !

Sometimes you’ re asked about the type of girl you’re looking for. Resist the temptation to write 32FF 18.y.o. Gymnast with insatiable sexual appetite., and instead go for something more general. Keep your profile on a positive track and don’t criticise yourself.

2. Always Add Photos

Profiles with photos get the most traffic, fact!. The photos are the first thing she’ll look at so you get a few milliseconds to raise your value. High value is obtained with the following types of photos.

• A Group Shot - You with a few friends male and female all laughing. This shows her that people want to be with you i.e. social proof.
• Sport - An activity photo, show’s you’re dynamic and that you look after yourself.
• Luxury - If you have a nice car/flat/boat or have been on a nice holiday, upload the photo. You should be the main focus of the photo and the luxury item just happens to be there.
• Avoid - Naked shots, bad photos, small photos, animals, cartoon characters, school photos and photos that are not you.

3. Some Elements of Your Profile Should be Vague

Don’t list your religion, drinking habits, desire to have children or living status as these may filter you out of her search.

4.Escalate to chat ASAP

This is especially true for networking sites, try to get her instant messenger address as soon as you can. Most sites have a chat facility but they’re all shit, also a lot of girls may visit a site infrequently but use MSN Chat every day. Get on her buddy list and you’ll get a much higher probability of talking to her again.

5. MSN/YAHOO Chat

Make sure you’re chat software is the latest version and that you’re registered with Yahoo and MSN. Have your photos ready on your PC, if you make contact with a girl two weeks down the line it’s customary to swap photos so you can remember each other.

The 3 seconds rule was first coined by a professional pick up artist called Mystery. Hesitation is the friend of self doubt, hesitate and you start a stream of negative thoughts. The 3 seconds rule means that as soon as you see a girl you like, you should approach her. It means that if you’re at a bar waiting to get served and a sexy girl walks up to the space beside you, smile and say something.

Ideally you should have a few openers that you can use to initiate a conversation, but if you don’t, approach anyway. The 3 seconds rule means that you’re going to be approaching a lot of girls, even if you’re a bumbling idiot eventually you’ll find a girl who’ll be more than happy to strike up a conversation. Remember the best chat up line in the world is to smile and say hello.

Don’t wait for eye contact or any other form of “come on”, chances are she hasn’t seen you yet. Approaching a girl shows her a number of things about yourself.

• You’re available.
• You’re confident.
• You’re spontaneous.
• You’re entertaining (because you’re smiling, right ?)

The rule does not apply to all occasions, there may be physical constraints or you may already be chatting to someone. The easy check is to as yourself am I procrastinating if you are, approach. There’s an old marketing rule that goes something like this.

A study was done where fifty women were asked to grade pictures of men based on attractiveness, all the men were dressed the same. The Basics

A Dark Wash Jean

Throw away your Levis 501s you need a pair of Diesel Jeans. Boot fit or straight cut is fine just make sure they fit all the way down to the bottom of your trainer or shoe. Extra points if the bottom of the jean drags along the ground and frays when you’re wearing your retro trainers.

Shirts

You need two or three shirts that are slim fit, even if you are not slim the point is that when tucked into trousers the shirt tapers in and looks clean. Shirts with acres of material puffed out like a tutu are bad.

You may have to try a few different brands until you find one that fit’s nice, then buy a couple of different colours or patterns in that fit. For me Jaeger Slim Fit work perfect.

Cool Polo

This summer pink is still in but yellow is the new pink, and for those of you who are still wearing that Ralph Lauren polo shirt you’ve had for 10 years you’re in look because they are back in, however you need to upgrade to a smart new one.

Cool polo shirts look good with Jeans. Don’t wear polo shirts tucked into your Jeans the girl you’re thinking of chatting up… that’s how her dad wears them.

Big Print T Shirts

Look for well fitting T shirts that are not baggy, choose good quality cotton. Extra points if it looks slightly worn even though it’s brand new. A must is some sort of design on the front.

Sunglasses

If you were a big fan of Top Gun and bought the RayBan’s then find them, they’re retro cool. Big sunglasses are in, personally I still think a pair of Oakleys or Police are the ones to go for.

Beach ware

There’s only one thing to wear on you’re feet at the beach and that’s flip flops. In fact if it’s hot and you’re wearing shorts in any situation flip flops are the footwear to go for. Trainers on bare feet do not look cool. If you’re Australian you’ll already have this angle covered.

Shorts - whatever you do, don’t buy shorts with an elasticated waist band. The band will cut into your waist and you’ll get a slight overhang. The likes of QuickSilver and Billabong do surf shorts with a non-elastic waist.

Retro Trainers/Sneakers

All star trainers are back in, in fact think retro. You may have a pair of running trainers and the only time you should be wearing them is when you’re running. Think Adidas retro styles and you’ll be fine.

Belt

Basically you need two belts a smart black leather one for your trousers, and a brown leather retro belt with detailing for your jeans. If you wear Jeans with no belt stop now, it looks bad.

Jacket

Personally I don’t bother with Jackets much, on the London clubbing scene they can be a pain.

Shoes

You can get away with one pair of black leather slip on shoes. It’s worth going for a name such as Church’s, women really notice shoes.

Anyway, I hope this gives you a few ideas even if you don’t agree with my taste.

The phrase alpha male is banded around a lot on seduction forums, the theory is that if you are the alpha male in a room then you’re going to get all the attention and subsequently all the action.

Often it seems like you know guys who are always getting laid and other guys never get laid. You’ll even see women talking to/hanging out/being friends with the average guy, but then sleep with some other guy (even if he is a jerk, sleeps around and doesn’t respect them). In a night club you’ll see a lot of dominant males, the reality is in a crowded situation you’re unlikely to make the kind of impact that will grab the attention of all the girls. However, I still think that the concept of the Alpha Male is important in your interaction with women, in other words your manner should be confident so that she feels she is with an alpha male, even if you are not the alpha male in that situation.

Examples of Alpha Male characteristics would be :-

1. Approaching women - submissive males don’t approach women.
2. Being the funniest person in a group, having the confidence to hold peoples attention.
3. Approaching a group of women and introducing your friends - Alpha males don’t mind competition

But inherently some people are 6ft tall and great looking, there’s not much you can do about that. A friend of mine was once on a photo shoot for a mens fashion magazine. He went clubbing with the male models after work, he said when these guys walked into the club every girl stopped what she was doing and drooled.

Summary

The Speed Seduction technique has a dubious foundation and appears to be more of a money spinner than something genuinely useful.

Ross Jeffries

I’m going to be opinionated here but keep an open mind, I’m not a fan of Speed Seduction but that doesn’t mean it wont work for you.

Ross Jeffries is the creator of the Speed Seduction method based on NLP. He is a former comedy writer and makes a healthy living through seminars and his website, teaching men how to pick up women.

NLP (Neuro-linguistic Programming)

Neuro-linguistic programming (NLP) is a set of techniques, axioms and beliefs used for personal development.

NLP has a number of qualified critics.

No evidence of its claimed effectiveness.Singer (1996)

Bogus therapies can be explained by the placebo effect, social pressure, superficial symptomatic rather than core treatment , and overestimating some apparent successes while ignoring, downplaying, or explaining away failures.Beyerstein

NLP and Ross Jeffries

Ross uses an number of NLP strategies and refines them down a number of seduction mantras.

• Concentrating on confidence and attitude
• Affirmations
• Command phrases
• Etc…

Techniques such as imagening you’re 40ft tall, make a film role in your head where the last slide is you in bed with the girl you want, and so on.

Another Jeffries device is phonetic ambiguity. Sentence example: “Standing on the hill, I could see the river twinkling below me.” According to Jeffries, the words “below me” could be unconsciously interpreted as an embedded command to “blow me.”. I’m struggling to see how this technique works, if there was evidence then I would be persuaded.

The Fallacies and Wikipedia

As in religious wars the arguments for and against speed seduction tend to be based on fallacies. One fallacy is displayed on the wikipedia mediation request for the Ross Jeffries entry. The techniques apparently work because Ross challenges us to compete against him for who can get the most kisses/phone numbers from girls. I’m sorry Ross but that neither proves or disproves your theory.

Even on one of his tapes Ross tells us about a client of his who said that the Affirmations techniques did not work for him. Ross informs us that he must be using the wrong tone of voice. Have a look at this debate about affirmations not working.

I’m going to post this article to the Ross Jeffries wikipedia entry. My guess is it will last about 10 minutes before a member of the seduction community takes it off, wouldn’t be good for sales now would it.

Parties are a great place to pick up women. It’s expected that people should mix and get to know each other and a simple “How’s it going ?” will get a good response.

You could start with The 3 Seconds Rule or alternatively.

I had a listen to the podcasts on the Charisma Arts website and I must say I’m very impressed with the techniques the guys are using.

I agree that charisma is a required attribute for successfully picking up women. However Charisma is a very hard quality to both teach and even define. I like their approach which is to give techniques for increasing chances with girls, and letting the charisma aspect develop over time.

Some of the techniques they discuss are listed below.

Kino

Light touches preferably to the upper arm area that are non-intrusive, but build a connection, a physical rapport.

SOI - Statement of Intent

A statement dropped into your interaction that shows you’re not just interacting as a friend but that you’re willing to escalate to a more sexual relationship.

In your head

A phrase used to convey the feeling that you are thinking too much about your interaction and that you are not totally relaxed and in the flow.

Not Entertaining

The concept that you are not there to perform but to allow her to entertain you.

Relating

Whilst on a subject you both find interesting you do a lot of listening and agreeing with her thoughts and opinions.

Isolating

Taking her away from her friends so that she is not distracted, and she is committed to continuing the interaction one on one.

Qualification

Not about checking whether she has a boyfriend/husband but taking her fallacies about what she looks for and negating them.

Double Take

Catching a girls eye as if you recognise her then moving away, apparently works as a mini ice breaker.

Overview

Patterns are the core of the Ross Jeffries Speed Seduction technique. Patterns are seemingly innocent statements sprinkled into your discussions with a girl that will subconsciously invoke arousal in her. You can link those feelings to yourself by pointing at your self as you speak, or the fact that you are there should be enough.

Commands

Commands should be embedded into your statements to help grow the sense of arousal from your descriptions. A command might be of the form “Feel it building… focus in on those feelings”, this will ensure she is more attentive towards the feelings you are invoking.

Binder commands

Patterns also contain subconscious messages known as binder commands.

that’s the way to do it. Now, with me, its different, because…

The above statement incorporates the binder command DO IT! NOW! WITH ME!.

Sexual metaphors can be used during the interaction which sound innocent but when taken out of context will invoke further arousal. An example would be :-

Create an opening for it… feel that thought penetrate you…. you come over and over again to the same conclusion…

Weasel Phrases

Weasel phrases are commands embedded into you descriptions that when spoke aloud have double meanings.

• Below me, pronounced “Blow me”.
• Happiness, pronounced “hap-PENIS”.
• In you’re mind, pronounced “YOU’RE MINE!”

Patterns have the ability to make a girl recall or imagine absolutely wonderful feelings and states of mind, while linking them all to you.

What is the Cube Game ?

The cube game is a cold reading technique. By asking a few questions you are able to give the impression you have a deep understanding of a girl. The cube game builds rapport.

I’ve run the Cube on several women, and it’s never failed to amaze them. Usually it gives a good approximate idea of the person. Very efficient. Good fun too.

The Game

Prepare your victim (the girl) by building up the game. Ask her if she’s sure she wants to do this, tell her she may find out things about herself that she doesn’t want to know. You can then start to ask the questions; for her part she should give you as much detail as she can.

Imagine this simple picture with just three things in it: the sky, the horizon and the desert.

In this picture imagine a cube, where is it ? What is it made of ? How big is it ?

Now add a ladder, where is it ? What is it made of ? How big is it ? How many rungs are there ? Where is it in relation to the cube ?

Add some flowers to the picture, how many are there ? What kind ?, where are they in relation to the cube and the ladder ?

Add a horse to the picture, where is it ? What colour is it ? What is it doing ? How many rungs, where is it in relation to everything else ?

There’s a storm in the picture. Where is it ?, Which way is it proceeding ? What kind of storm ? How big is it ?

Interpreting the Results

• The Cube - Is how the girl views herself.
• The Ladder - Friends and family.
• The Flowers - Children in her life.
• The Horse - Her lover or ideal lover.
• The Storm - Troubles in her life.

The questions should be asked in the correct order (Cube, Ladder, Flowers, Horse, Storm). Interpret the picture in that order after she has finished answering all the questions. You interpret the questions individually and their relationship with the other pieces of the picture.

The possible interpretations below are just examples, you may adjust these to fit in with what you already know about the girl. They are fairly vague and could almost apply to anyone.

The Cube - Herself

• Small cube - feels small, ignored.
• On the ground - well grounded.
• In the sky - imaginative, un-realistic.
• Far away - feels left behind.
• Transparent - purity.

The Ladder - Friends

• Many rungs - many friends.
• Few rungs - few close friends.
• Far away from cube - keeps her friends at arms length.
• Ladder bigger than cube - feels small in her social circle.
• Ladder against cube - keeps her friends close.

The Flowers - Children

• Number of flowers - number of children she wants to have around.
• Flowers far away - does not want children.
• Flowers close to cube - Feels very close to the children she has or will have.
• Beautiful flowers - finds children very beautiful.

The Horse - Lover

• Strong, large horse - She likes protective strong men.
• Horse far away - Ideal man far away.
• Weak horse - Envisions being stuck with a weak man.
• Horse with flowers - Ideal man loves children.

The Storm - Trouble

• Storm in distance - troubles are far away.
• Storm close - going through hard times now.
• Small storm - no real troubles in life.
